Troxy 2007 - debrief
If anyone has anything else to add please feel free. Smile

debrief issues:

- Parcans
6 way bars need to be rigged so that they are 'mechanically' the same both sides, so we should introduce socapex "direction inverters" or use more dimmer channels.
We cannot use swivel couplers to rig canbars off the side of our new truss, they can only be over or under rigged. (or they droop/damage the truss)

- We need to be more conservative when planning the transport space require ...

Could Have Been Shocking!
Here's one for the "Ever seen anything stupid" section.... Many, many years ago I was mixing FOH in the Marquee Club (the old one!) At the time the console was a Soundcraft Series 4.... You had to be 6ft tall to reach the gain! During the show I became aware of someone to my right; upon further investigation I found a very smelly, very drunk heavy metal fan taking a leak....... wait for it........ on the desk PSU!!!!

Hi guys

You may of heard my name in such esteemed publications as the rock-tech crew newsletter that Steve sent last week. I have not met very many of you rock-tech guys so I thought I might introduce myself.

I am a sound engineer from Bristol and helped out with sound stuff at the Love Bristol festival last summer which is where I met Rock-tech for the first time. Phil, Steve, Rob and Ed were around for the festival so I spent some time with them. I was also at creationfest the next week ...
